[Journal Club] Enhanced power of gravitational waves and rapid coalescence of black hole binaries through dark energy accretion

In this journal club, I will talk about 2210.12502 [gr-qc] which tackles gravitational wave emission in the context of dark energy accretion. We discuss the results which show faster circularization, compact binary merger times, and a larger emitted gravitational wave power for various initial conditions. This teases a way dark energy can be constrained using gravitational wave astronomy.
